Like all these xmas songs that I’ve arranged, the melody is always played ad lib, meaning as you want. How would you sing it? I’ve had a bit of a hard time notating these melodies since it looks ridiculous to notate every triplet… So don’t put too much effort into analyzing the rhythm of the melody, just play it like you would sing it.

In this arrangement I have written out the rhythm as accurately as I could (read: had the energy for), and it looks unnecessarily messy don't you think? Or perhaps you do find it useful?

Feel free to play whichever part you want to regardless of where the little red dot is!
