3. POSITIONS - from the 1st to the 4th.
When we start to play the cello as children, we're usually not presented with a map of the positions on the fingerboard.
Rather, we play one piece after the other, and at some point we understand how to find our way between the different places on the fingerboard.
But my adult students are very keen on having a visual map of the positions, and although I think I can with time find a better -more satisfying- way of explaining the positions, I've here made an attempt at making it a little less mysterious for you.
